First Church of the Nazarene in Battle Creek, MI...
...is part of a larger family. Because of this, we have discovered that as a local gathering of believers we can participate in impacting our great state of Michigan and our world in ways that aren't as easily achieved by many non-denominational churches. While we find great joy and fulfillment in our caring for our local community, we also have the ability to quickly connect with state and world groups that aid people of all ages and races at there point of need.
Technology may be making the transfer of information faster and easier, but Jesus still gave a simple command...
"Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20, The Message)

Going into our community and all of the world to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Growing in knowledge, skill, and love as disciples of Jesus Chrsit.

Gathering all who are willing to come into a community filled with the compassion of Jesus Christ.
